The Hijab controversy which led to many protests in India is yet to get sorted. The Supreme Court bench which heard the petition gave a split verdict on the issue which took the issue to the Chief Justice Of India-led bench. All eyes are on the CJI to know what the top judge would say.

Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi raised the topic in his recent press briefing and said that it is a positive thing that the judge said it is ok if Muslim students want to go to educational institutions and have studies. Having welcomed this he made so interesting comments on a Hijab wearing woman becoming the PM.

The AIMIM Chief made some sensational comments and alleged that the saffron party BJP is against the Muslim identity and they have issues with even Halal meat. Saying that BJP is aiming to root out secularism in the nation, Owaisi said having equal opportunities is the main feature of secularism and asked if we can see a Hijab wearing woman taking up the Prime Minister post.

The saffron party did not remain silent and hit back at the MP. The party leaders are asking when a hijab-wearing woman will be made the chief of the AIMIM. The ruling party leaders are also asking the MP to take the first step in this regard.

It's been a very long time since we had a lady Prime Minister. Indira Gandhi was the lady Prime Minister in India and it would be a good thing if we can have a lady in the post of Prime Minister.

"Owaisi ji hopes that a Hijab wearing girl becomes PM of India! Well Constitution bars nobody but do tell us when will a Hijab wearing girl get to become President of AIMIM? Let us start with that?," BJP's Shehzad Poonawalla said sharing Owaisi's video.
