The BJP has already begun working for a resounding victory in the 2024 elections. The party has already begun the process of mapping the Lok Sabha constituencies on the basis of the support that the party enjoys among the voters. Party thinking heads have zeroed in on 144 MP seats, where the party stood third in the 2019 elections and want to improve its performance in these seats.

The BJP's top leadership has recently held a key meeting in Delhi. Besides, Modi, Shah and Nadda, the meeting was attended among others by Smriti Irani , Narendra Singh Tomar, Mansukh Mandaviya, Piyush Goel, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Dharmendra Pradhan and Bhupendra Yadav.

The party has identified 144 constituencies in five states where special emphasis has to be laid. These constituencies are in West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Telangana and Maharashtra. The party has decided to prepare a blueprint for victory in these seats. Parameters like the strengths and weaknesses of the party, possible candidates and the social composition of the constituency are being collected and work is being done to prepare a strategy for victory.

Sources say that the BJP is focusing mainly on West Bengal and Telangana. The two states are ruled by the Trinamool Congress and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi. The BJP wants to launch an outright attack on these two parties. The aim is to bag the maximum number of seats in these two seats. The BJP feels that it would take a lot more time and effort to win in Punjab.
