Can Rahul's Bharat Jodo Yatra Help T-Congress?
By: Tupaki Desk | 3 Oct 2022 9:17 AM GMTCongress MP Rahul Gandhi is on a big mission now. The former Congress chief is busy doing Bharat Jodo Yatra and the party pinned high hopes that the yatra would boost the opposition party and bring back the lost glory. The massive yatra is going on at a good pace and already covered a few states.
Now the ongoing yatra would enter Telangana too and the road map for the yatra is also fixed. Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra will go on for two weeks in the state and the MP would cover as many as 375 km. 7 Parliamentary constituencies and 17 Assembly Constituencies will be covered under the yatra.
The Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter Telangana from Karnataka on the 24th of this month. The Telangana wing of Congress is busy making arrangements for the yatra and the yatra is likely to happen without causing any issues to the public.
The Congress sympathisers and supporters are hoping that the yatra would help the party which is in opposition in Telangana. But the doubt here is will the Telangana leaders take part in the yatra and make it a big success.
It is known that the senior leaders in the party are not happy with the TPCC chief Revanth Reddy and they are openly making comments on him and his leadership skills at regular intervals.
When Revanth Reddy started a small yatra in the state earlier, no seniors participated in the yatra. Given the protocol, Revanth has to participate in the yatra as he is the chief of the party of Telangana state.
With the seniors in the Telangana Congress party having issues with chief Revanth Reddy, it is going to be interesting to see if the seniors will participate in the yatra where Revanth Reddy will be present.
Talking about the Bharat Jodo Yatra it was launched from Kanya Kumari and it already covered states like Kerala and Tamil Nadu. After reaching Telangana, the yatra is likely to cover key areas like Masab Tank, Punjagutta, Ameerpet, Kukatpally, and others. The Congress cadre is expected to participate in the yatra.
