Can We Expect any Clarification from Janasena Chief?
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 March 2022 7:04 AM GMTPawan Kalyan's Janasena had contested the 2019 general elections in Andhra Pradesh. Sadly, the party could not make any impact in the polls and lost the same cheaply. Forget about others, even the party chief Pawan Kalyan could not win the polls as he had lost the polls from both constituencies.
After the humiliating defeat, Pawan Kalyan had found a friend in the former ally. Post the polls, Pawan Kalyan announced his alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP). Both parties have been walking together since then. However, the alliance did not record any significant success so far in the state.
With the alliance seeing no success or growth, the Janasena cadre is said to be not happy with the alliance and wants their chief to walk with the old friend for a better future and growth.
It has been widely reported that there is a strong demand from the cadre that Janasena and grand old Telugu Desam Party should form an alliance one more time and contest the polls.
As the general elections are around two years away from now, the cadre is hoping that Pawan Kalyan might take a call on the same and he might say something about the alliance during the massive meeting today.
With Janasena and Telugu Desam Party being against the ruling YCP and there is an anti-sentiment for the party, cadres of both parties allegedly think that together they form a great force and they can take on the mighty YCP.
Like how they did in the 2014 polls, the alliance might make it to a grand victory, the cadre think. This might be true too. However, the opinion of the cadre is not required here and what matters is the opinion of the chiefs of both parties.
Earlier, when the same point was raised by Telugu Desam Party cadre, party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that it's like one-sided love and unless the other side(Janasena) comes forward, nothing will happen.
Amid all these observations and developments, it is expected that the Janasena chief is likely to either make an announcement or clear the airs on the same.
