It is known that Group Captain Varun Singh, the sole survivor of the infamous chopper crash at Tamil Nadu had succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment. The Army official received a moving farewell on Friday. Madhya Pradesh's Bhopal became the venue for the last rites.

Group Captain Varun Singh's final rites were held today and he received the full Military honors for his final goodbye. The Army officials, his family members, and other attendees had bid the final goodbye for the official. Senior members in the Army paid floral tributes to the Group captain.

His mortal remains were shifted to Bhopal from Bengaluru in a service aircraft and the mortal remains landed in Bhopal the other day. The arrangements were made for his last rites and an Army truck carried the mortal remains wrapped in the national flag.

After Reaching the cremation ground, the army personnel carried the casket on the shoulders and placed it at the cremation site. The floral tributes by the senior Army officials was followed by the guard of honour and the Group Captain received a goodbye.

Group Captain Varun Singh received floral tributes from Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Medical Education Minister Vishvas Sarang, and several others besides his family members.
