The agencies have been raising multiple locations for the past few days and yet again, the central agencies conducted mass searches in various states and multiple arrests happened as per the reports.
In the massive crackdown of PFI what the experts are saying, as many as 106 people were arrested across the states in connection with the raids. National media is saying that four big heads related to the outfit were nabbed by the agencies.
Going by the information shared by the national media, PFI Chairman OMA Salam, State president CP Muhammad Basheer, Delhi PFI chief Parvez Ahmed and his brother from Okhla were arrested in connection with the raids.
Experts say that the BJP hit the bull's eye as far as the PFI is concerned as big heads were arrested by the central agencies. In the wake of the central agencies showdown across the state, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reportedly called for a key meeting with a few dignitaries.
The massive arrests including the arrest of four big heads are a big development as the PFI is accused of recruiting youth and giving them training for unlawful activities. The other day, a PFI activist was arrested and he is said to be the accused of killing an RSS member in Kerala.
For the past few days, there are reports which say that PFI is indulging in anti-social activities and the members are training youths in this regard. The searches took place in residences and other places related to the members of the terror outfit.
The Union government thinks that the terror outfit is behind the tense situations and unwanted scenes in the country. A few days back, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the Supreme Court that the PFI is behind the protests held in the country fighting the Hijab in educational institutions.
Mr. Mehta also mentioned the Hijab protests in Iran and said these protests were planned with a big conspiracy and the situation is tense.
Though the PFI is active in southern states, the Telugu land stayed out of this all these days. But the PFI started entering Telugu states as well. Under the mass arrests, five people from Andhra Pradesh were nabbed and a few people were arrested from Telangana recently.
