Chandrababu calls for key meet on Oct 15: Will TDP rise again in Telangana?

Has Telangana CM and TRS chief KCR given the beleaguered TDP a new lease of life in Telangana? Is the TDP planning to make a revival in the newly carved out state? Is it going to activate itself and enter into some kind of political alliance with a friendly political party in Telangana?
If sources are to be believed, the TDP is going to organise a key meeting of the party leaders and presidents of various district units at the NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad on October 15. The meeting is likely to discuss the revival of the party in Telangana. The party is also planning to enter into an alliance with a friendly national party to contest the elections in the 2023 elections.
The TDP has also decided to put up a candidate in Munugode. It has given a ticket to Jakkula Ilaiah Yadav. Sources say that this is being done mainly to help wean away the Yadav votes from the ruling TRS. Chandrababu Naidu feels that with the TRS entering into the national politics and renaming itself as BRS, the party has lost its regional plank. He feels that this would help the TDP make a comeback.
Chandrababu feels that the TRS has given a new lease of life to the TDP, which is almost eliminated in Telangana. TDP sources say that the party still has considerable support in Khammam, Rangareddy and part of Hyderabad. The TDP feels that with the changed scenario, it can revive itself in Telangana state.
