Congress Repeating the Same Mistake in Munugode Too!

The grand old Congress party almost made it a habit of repeating the same mistake again and again. It is not learning from its previous mistakes which in turn results in the party getting weaker and weaker with each passing day. This has got proved yet again with the way the party is behaving.
The Congress party suffered big time in the Huzurabad by-election by a lot of time in finalising the candidate. This made the party record a disastrous election and the party was restricted to third place while the BJP won the by-election.
Telangana will see another intense by-poll in Munugode which became vacant after Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy resigned as MLA. BJP already announced Komatireddy as the candidate and he is busy with campaign activities. TRS also kept itself busy with the campaign, though the candidate is not fixed yet.
Experts say that delaying the party candidate would reduce the winning chances. The aspirants are also said to have not giving their best in the party activities as no one knows who would be decided.
Moreover, Congress has a strong cadre in Nalgonda and a recent survey said that Congress is in the first place as per the predictions. This would turn into reality only if Congress swings into action and takes timely decisions.
Another big question here is whether Komatireddy Venkat Reddy would give his best if he was given the task of picking the ideal candidate. A few say that the MP might not select a credible candidate as the candidate should compete against his own brother.
The Congress leadership is yet to take a call on the candidate. Not just the TPCC even the Delhi leadership is unable to select the candidate. It is said that Priyanka Gandhi also spoke to a few leaders on this. Later, Telangana affairs in-charge Manickam Tagore met seniors from the region to take their inputs.
A few sympathizers blame the Gandhi family for their delay which is making the party bear the loss. Just like Huzurabad, the party leadership is also taking a lot of time in picking the candidate. The sympathizers want the leadership to act fast at least for the upcoming by-poll.
