Deadline In YS Viveka Case Arrived, What CBI Will Do?
X
The death case of former MP YS Vivekananda Reddy is a much-talked-about one not only in AP but in two Telugu states. As he is the brother of the former Chief Minister, the issue became a sensation. The case also became political. Initially, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) probed the matter, and then the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI).

Now everyone aware of the case has one doubt in mind, what the CBI will do in the case now. There is a reason behind this. Today is the deadline of the case imposed by the court. Earlier, the Supreme Court directed the CBI to complete the probe by June 30th.

All eyes are now on the agency to see what it does. Observers say that the central agency might move the court seeking more time for a better probe. So far, only a few accused were grilled and arrested and nothing big happened in the case.

Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy is one of the accused in the case. We have seen a big drama in his arrest. He missed the notices sent by CBI a few times and many felt that he would be arrested. CBI vehicles also went to Pulivendula. But his arrest did not happen.

A lot of suspense also happened in the court as far as YS Avinash Reddy's bail is concerned. He was finally given bail in the case after a lot of waiting. His lawyers asked why the CBI is after him without any evidence.

As an unexpected thing, the over-enthusiasm shown by a few media houses made a Judge angry and he moved the Chief Justice to seek strict action. The judge who dealt with the case found objections to the interpretations made by the media houses on the verdict he gave.

Looking at the key developments in the case so far, Bhaskar Reddy, father of Kadapa MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy, and Uday Kumar Reddy were arrested. In a petition, earlier, the CBI officials told the court that the two accused are not cooperating with them in the investigation. Let us wait and see what the CBI will do next in the case.
