Deputy Tahsildar Suspended For Barging Into IAS Officer's House!

In a shocking incident, a person barged into a senior IAS officer in Telangana a few days back. The IAS officer who had the horrific experience is Smita Sabharwal. Moreover, she is appointed to the Chief Minister's Office. But that did not stop her from facing a scary situation.
The person who broke into the residence of Smita Sabharwal has been identified as Anant Kumar Reddy, the deputy tehsildar of Medchal-Malkajgiri. She acted fast and raised the alarm. Her security personnel swung into action and caught the accused. He has been handed over to the concerned cops.
Now the latest news is that the deputy tehsildar was suspended from his position in connection with the case and further investigation is underway. The Higher authorities reportedly want to take serious action against him as what he did was not a small thing.
Anant Kumar Reddy and his friend had gone to Smita’s residence. While Reddy went inside the house his friend stayed outside the house. The two were arrested and taken into custody. It is said that Anant Kumar Reddy allegedly went to the IAS officer’s residence over his promotion to have a word with her.
But he got arrested as trespassing into others' houses is an offense. Moreover, she is a senior lady IAS officer. The Police department would not leave the case easily and let him go. It is said that a case under section 458 of the Indian Penal Code has been filed against the deputy tehsildar.
She is an IAS officer and she is the first lady IAS Officer to be appointed to the Chief Minister's Office. Despite all this, the deputy tehsildar trespassed into her residence to talk. Such a scary incident happening to an IAS officer raised many eyeballs and created a big controversy.
"Had this most harrowing experience, a night back when an intruder broke into my house. I had the presence of mind to deal and save my life. Lessons: no matter how secure you think you are- always check the doors/ locks personally.#Dial100 in emergency," the senior Indian Administrative Service(IAS) officer said on Twitter recalling the horrific incident.
