Election Commission's Notification For Pending Elections In Ap

Andhra Pradesh is on the verge of witnessing another ballot box battle in the state as the Election Commission has issued the election schedule for the pending elections. The notification will be issued in a couple of days that will blow the political siren and increase the political heat. The pending elections will be held this month.
The elections for 12 Municipalities and the Nellore Corporation will be held this month. The elections in these bodies are pending for various reasons and the election body wants to hold the elections. The elections for these bodies will be commenced on November 15.
While the election notification will be issued on November 3rd, the further procedure will be started from 4th and the elections will be held on the 15th of this month. The Andhra Pradesh's State Election Commission has chaired a key meeting with Collectors, SPs, and other officials earlier on the elections.
As part of the election notification, Nellore Corporation and Kuppam, Buchireddypalem, Akivedu, Jaggaiahpet, Kondapalli, Dachepalli, Gurajala, Darsi, Betamcherla, Kamalapuram, Rajampet, Penukonda Municipalities will face the elections.
Besides the local body elections, the MLC elections under the MLA quota will also be held in Andhra Pradesh this month. The Election Commission of India had earlier said, the elections will be held on the 29th of this month and the votes will be counted on the same day.
