Ex-CM Hopes Uddhav Thackeray Bounces Back As Congress Did!

Strong Right-wing party Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party, known for its strong secular ideology came together to ally due to the then existing situations after the 2019 elections in Maharashtra. The two parties formed the government in the state with the help of the grand old Congress party. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray was made the Chief Minister.

Since then NCP has been with Shiv Sena in every thick and thin. After the rebel leaders in Shiv Sena under Eknath Shinde’s leadership quit the party making the way to change the government, NCP chief Sharad Pawar walked with Uddhav Thackeray as a true friend. Yet again he behaved as a true friend.

It is known that the Uddhav Thackeray faction of Shiv Sena faced a big blow with the Election Commission deciding to allot the Shiv Sena party name and bow and arrow party symbol to Eknath Shinde’s group.

No words can describe the shock Shiv Sena might have faced with the development. The Hindutva party which once ruled Maharashtra politics no matter who is in the power is now struggling to have a foot in its strong zone. No one would have thought that Shiv Sena would go through all this.

In the tough time, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar is said to have advised former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray to take the new party symbol and start things newly and the party can bounce back as Congress did.

Giving the example of how Congress bounced back after getting Hand as a new symbol from two bullocks with a yoke' symbol, Sharad Pawar said that Uddhav Thackeray has the same caliber to do that and people will support the new party as well.

Shiv Sena is not just a party. It is a legacy in Maharashtra and no one can write off its impact. If Uddhav Thackeray can invoke its strong impact then nothing can stop the party. Shiv Sena is regarded as a strong Hindutva party and it openly supported the Ayodhya issue when the Babri Masjid was demolished. Bal Thackeray is known for supporting Hindus and their clauses. Shiv Sena is the first party to bat for reservations for Kashmir Hindus.
