Ex-Lok Sabha Member Sharad Yadav is No More!

75-year-old veteran politician Sharad Yadav who is regarded as one of the tallest leaders in the country breathed his last sadly. Putting an end to a long and illustrious political career he passed away. Condolence messages are pouring in for the respected leader.
Sharad Yadav was drawn towards politics at a very young age. After he completed engineering from Jabalpur Engineering College he ventured into youth politics and began taking baby steps. Yadav was highly inspired by Ram Manohar Lohia. 1974 can be seen as a game-changer in his political career.
When the Jabalpur constituency went for by-elections, Jayaprakash Narayan picked Sharad Yadav as the candidate. His image as a student leader and the backing of Jayaprakash Narayan and other opposition parties helped him to emerge victorious.
In the 1990s Shard Pawar was supported by the Janata Parivar. He served as a Lok Sabha member for seven terms and became a Rajya Sabha member for four terms. Sharad Yadav also left his impact on Bihar politics by supporting Lalu Prasad Yadav when he was the Chief Minister of Bihar.
When Bharatiya Janata Party veteran Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister, Sharad Yadav was given the key Ministries of Civil Aviation, Labour and Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution in the Union Cabinet.
