G 23 out to attack Sonia -Rahul-Priyanka troika soon

Even as the Congress is getting ready to take on the might of the BJP in the runup to 2024 elections, knives are out to corner the Congress first family. Attempts are on to put the Congress leadership of Sonia-Priyanka-Rahul Gandhi troika. Several key leaders of the G 23 group, the group led by the likes of Shashi Tharoor and Ghulam Nabi Azad have met at the house of Ghulam Nabi Azad.
The group hasdecided to chart out their future of course of action within the Congress party. The group is said to be waiting for the results of the five state assemblies, including the UP, to be declared. They are of the assessment that the Congress would not retain even Punjab. The guestimate is that the party will stand second in Punjab and will cede ground to AAP.
If these happen, it would be very difficult for the Congress top troika to defend themselves. The G 23 group is planning to attack the leadership soon after the elections. Several senior leaders, including former Gujarat CM Madhav Singh Solanki's son Bharat Singh Solanki, former Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chawan, Haryana former CM Bhupinder Hooda, senior leaders Kapil Sibal and Ananda Sharma have met to discuss the party's future.
Sources say that this group is likely to attack Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi soon after the election. They are likely to demand organisational elections in the party and democratically elected leadership. Sources say that this could lead to further worsening of the situation in the party
