Has TRS lost perception battle over BJP's Operation Akarsh?

It now clearly appears that the ruling TRS has lost the perception war on the issue of "operation akarsh' on four TRS MLAs by the BJP. After raking up the issue, the ruling TRS has not so far succeeded in providing concrete evidence of money changing hands. It could not provide any evidence of online or offline monetary transactions.
It could also not provide any evidence of the BJP leaders' links to the whole case. Neither audio tapes are available nor any videographic evidence of the deal. At the same time, the whole incident did not find any echo in the poll-bound Munugode assembly constituency.
Intel reports sent to the Pragathi Bhavan revealed that the voters in Munugode were not bothered in the least about the allegations that the TRS had leveled against the BJP.
At the same time, the general perception is that the whole operation was stage-managed by the Pragathi Bhavan. Sources say that the four MLAs appeared quite a worried lot. Though they are tight-lipped as of now, they feel that they have been fixed in the whole operation.
In another development, the ruling TRS was left bewildered at the national media thoroughly ignoring the "operation akarsh" The news was sent to some media houses and there was intense lobbying to publish them. However, the national media chose to ignore it completely. Only one media house, which has an agreement with the ruling party, gave it some coverage in the inside pages. Now the party feels that the whole effort has boomeranged.
