High Court Blames GHMC Authorities Negligence For Dogs Menace!

It is known that a four-year-old kid was brutally attacked and killed by a pack of stray dogs in Telangana's Amberpet. The issue created an uproar in the state and several questions were raised against the state government and the civic body authorities. The opposition parties lashed out at the government.
The issue reached the High Court of Telangana as it took up the suo motu public interest litigation. The petition was heard by the High Court today and it made some serious comments during the arguments on the stray dogs' menace.
Calling the incident barbaric, the High Court asked what the GHMC authorities were doing when the incidents were happening. Blaming the negligence of the GHMC authorities, the High Court asked why no measures were taken despite the dogs attacking people.
The next hearing was posted on the 16th of next month. Saying that many incidents happened in the recent past, the High Court asked what actions were taken as of now and what actions would be taken to stop these sorts of incidents in the state.
Saying that it will consider the aspect of paying compensation to the victim's family, the High court of Telangana served notice to Telangana Chief Secretary, GHMC, Hyderabad Collector, Telangana Legal Cell Authority, and Amberpet Municipal Officer in this regard. They were directed to file a reply in court.
The response of the GHMC Mayor raised many eyeballs earlier. She said that a woman used to feed stray dogs non-veg. As she did not feed the dogs anything for two days, the dogs might have attacked him, the mayor said. The likes of Revanth Reddy lashed out at her.
