High Court Shocks AP Government On Amaravati Yatra!
X
No words can describe the problems the Amaravati farmers are facing in finishing their second leg of the yatra fighting for Amaravati's capital yatra. With the government having a contrasting opinion, the ruling party is giving its best in stopping the yatra at any cost.

Earlier, the Police did not give permission for the Yatra saying that there might be law and order issues if permission is granted for the yatra. The farmers moved the High Court and received favorable orders and the court said that 600 farmers can be allowed for the Yatra provided they can show their ID cards.

Yet again, the Andhra Pradesh government knocked on the doors of the High Court of the state seeking directives to stop the yatra. The petition came for a hearing today. However, the High Court dismissed the petition and said the Yatra can be permitted.

Mentioning that the High Court earlier permitted the Yatra, the court told the government to stick to the previous orders given by the court on the Yatra. This is a big setback to the government which wanted the Yatra to be stopped.

Having dismissed the petition, the Andhra Pradesh High Court said that 600 farmers can be allowed to participate in the Yatra and directed the Police department to grant them ID cards so that they can participate in the Yatra. This can be seen as a big victory for farmers.
