I am Demanding Bharat Ratna To NTR, Says Nandamuri Balakrishna!

The grand old Telugu Desam Party has once again started to focus on Telangana. TRS becoming BRS for national politics created a big opportunity for the party and it is using the same with both hands. The party is celebrating the 100th birth anniversary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.
Various events are planned as part of this and participating in one such event, Nandamuri Balakrishna made some crucial comments and said that he is demanding Bharat Ratna for NTR on behalf of the TDP party. He also asked who else would get Bharat Ratna other than NTR.
A massive event was held in Hyderabad and Nandamuri Balakrishna graced the event as a chief guest. He became the centre of attraction at the celebrations with his unique style. He waved a long sword in the air honoring his late father. Addressing the gathering, he said that TDP groomed many leaders and he will serve Telangana though he is an MLA from Hindupur.
Bharat Ratna for NTR is not a new demand and this has been going on for a long time. Every time the TDP holds Mahanadu, a resolution would be raised on this. However, that won't get implemented due to unknown reasons.
BJP is in power at the Center and the party was supported by NTR earlier. Despite this, the party did not show any interest to honor NTR with the highest civilian award. On top of this, the Telugu Desam Party has been a friendly party to the BJP. But this did not help in getting Bharat Ratna.
NTR might be a Chief Minister. But he shined in national politics and brought a big front by bringing all the opposition parties under one roof. So it would be appropriate to honor the leader.
