In Nellore YSRCP, it's 'Rajanna vs Jagananna'

Nellore is witnessing a strange tussle. It's Rajanna vs Jagan Anna in Nellore these days. Two rival groups in the YSRCP are using the names of late YSR and his son and present CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to settle scores. Former minister Anil KumarYadav and his uncle Roop Kumar Yadav, both prominent leaders of the YSRCP, are at war with one another.
While Anil Yadav's office is called Rajanna Bhavan, his uncle, who was his long-time mentor-associate, has set up his own office named Jagananna Bhavan. Both are fighting one another. Recently, the police arrested several workers who support Roop Kumar. He showed his clout by getting them released within no time. Since then, the fight between the two leaders is being termed as Rajanna vs Jagananna.
Even otherwise, Nellore district, which has given all the 11 assembly seats to the YSRCP in the 2019 elections, is a divided house. The YSRCP is beset with intense groupism. Anil Kumar has problems with minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy. At the same time, Anam Ramnarayana Reddy and Anil Kumar have been at loggerheads with one another. Kovur MLA Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy has a running feud with district YSRCP president Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy.
Party sources feel that chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is set to visit Nellore on Wednesday, is likely to talk to the warring leaders and impress upon them the need to bury the differences. Let's wait and see if Jagan will be able to douse the fires in Nelloe district.
