Insulting Judiciary: CBI Gets Another Big Fish in AP!

As a dangerous trend in the country, a section of people is seeing it as a fashion to comment or criticize the Indian judiciary and judges. To say how problematic the issue has turned, even the Chief Justice of India NV Ramana addressed the issue and dubbed it a trend that is not required in the country.
Even before the whole nation started talking about it, the dangerous trend became a big issue in Andhra Pradesh. On social media, a few people who support the ruling party in the state are commenting and criticizing the judiciary whenever the court gives a verdict against the government.
The Andhra Pradesh High Court was not impressed with the trend and directed the Crime Investigation Department (CID) branch of the State Police Services to look into the matter. But the High Court of Andhra Pradesh was not impressed with the work of CID and roped in the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) to probe the matter.
The central agency CBI took the matter seriously and already placed a few people before the court. Now the agency caught a big fish in the judiciary comments row. An ex-MLA from the ruling YSRCP was reportedly summoned by the CBI in connection with the case.
As he was summoned in the issue, he will be present at the CBI office on the 6th of this month for the investigation. Based on a video involving former Chirala MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan, a case has been filed. He even filed a petition in High Court to quash the cases filed against him. However, the CBI's lawyers said that if the cases are quashed, then the case investigation would get affected.
This is not the first time, the CBI got big fish in connection with abusing the judiciary. Earlier, MP Nandigam Suresh was also dragged into the case.
It has to be mentioned here that, a few leaders from the ruling party made objectionable comments when the High Court directed the government to develop Amaravati as the capital city. Even the Chief Minister said the judiciary is functioning outside its jurisdiction.
