For the past few seasons, we have been hearing a lot about the possible retirement of Dhoni. Many say that this might be the last season of the CSK captain.

A few days back, Kedar Jadhav made some sensational comments and said that this would be the last season of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Saying that Dhoni will turn 42 next year, Kedar Jadav said with 2,000 percent certainty, Dhoni would retire after the ongoing IPL season.
Though so much is being debated about Mahendra Singh Dhoni's possible retirement, no one knows what is going on in Dhoni's mind. Now there is no need for this confusion anymore as Mahendra Singh Dhoni revealed what he is thinking about retirement from the IPL.
During a recent Chennai Super Kings event, Mahendra Singh Dhoni was asked about this. Replying to this, Dhoni said that there is a lot of time to take a call for retirement. Adding further, the CSK skipper also said that the coach of the team would be under pressure if he says anything. Dhoni fans have something to cheer about as Dhoni indirectly said he will play for a few more seasons.
"There is lots of time to take that call. Right now, we have lots of games, and the coach will be under pressure if I say something," Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
Earlier, the CSK management made Ravindra Jadeja the skipper of the team. Ahead of the start of the 2022 season, Jadeja was announced as the captain. However, Mahendra Singh Dhoni was made the captain again after the team recorded back-to-back defeats in the league.
