Is Chandrababu silently planning a master stroke for the 2023 elections. If sources close to the TDP establishment are to be believed, Chandrababu Naidu is getting ready to put in place a plan to ensure the victory of his son Nara Lokesh in the next elections.
Sources say that he is planning to make Lokesh the TDP candidate from Hindupur in Anantapur district. Hindupur is one seat where TDP was never defeated. Earlier, NTR represented this constituency and now NTR's son and Chandrababu's brother-in-law Nandamuri Balakrishna represents the constituency. Even during the height of YSRCP wave, Hindupur returned the TDP candidate.

By fielding Balakrishna, the TDP can reclaim Gudivada and also defeat Chandrababu's bitterest critic Kodali Nani.
However, sources say that Balakrishna is shocked at this proposal. He has been cultivating Hindupur by regularly visiting the constituency.
