Is Modi Referring To Kavitha In His Speech?
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 April 2023 9:54 PM ISTThe Delhi Liquor scam is creating a sensation politically in Telangana as well. BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha is one of the accused in the case and was grilled by the Directorate of Enforcement officials in the case a few times. A debate is going on about whether the Chief Minister's daughter would be arrested in this case.
Now Prime Minister Narendra Modi's comments raised many eyeballs and there are also doubts about whether he is hinting about Kavitha. Saying that corruption should be fought collectively, Modi said actions should be taken against people no matter how big they are.
Narendra Modi is in Hyderabad earlier today. He started the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express and also laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment works of Secunderabad Railway Station. He expressed his happiness on the new train and said that Bhagyalakshmi city is linked to the city of Venkateswara Swamy.
On the occasion, Narendra Modi breathed fire on family politics and said that corruption and family politics are not different. The Prime Minister said corruption is a big evil and it should be dealt with an iron fist. However, he did not take any names.
Whenever Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party want to target the TRS, the family political issue is raised. As Modi used the term family politics with corruption, many wondered if he is waging a fierce attack on the state government without taking any names.
The BRS and other opposition parties are alleging that the agencies are misused in the liquor scam as Kavitha is grilled. Modi's comments hinted if he is addressing the criticism indirectly. In his speech, he asked if the agencies would do their work as per their job. Narendra Modi said that corruption cannot be taken for granted and should be fought collectively.
So Narendra Modi's comments started a debate on whether he is referring to Kavitha. BRS and BJP are locking horns with each other in this case. While BRS leaders are alleging that there is a political vendetta in this, the BJP leaders are saying that the investigating agencies are doing their job and nothing more than that.
