Is Tummala planning to join TDP?

The political analysts in Telangana are keenly watching the moves of veteran politician Tummala Nageswara Rao. This former minister from Khammam is said to be planning to leave the TRS. The reason? He is upset with the TDP ignoring him completely after his defeat in the 2019 assembly elections.
So, where is he going? He is not planning to go to either the Congress or the BJP. He is said to be looking towards the TDP. He is said to strongly feel that the TDP is not totally down and out in Telangana. Even in the 2018 assembly elections, the TDP could win two MLA seats in Khammam. This shows that the TDP is still a force in Khammam district and Tummala feels that he can breathe life into the party again.
Recently, Tummala attended the birth centenary celebration of late NTR. The programme was organised by the TDP leaders of Khammam. A cycle rally was taken out from Kakarapalli road in Sattupalli to Lingapalem. Tummala joined the yatra and said that NTR was above politics. He even said that while NTR gave him political birth, the other parties have only deceived.
Tummala is said to be unhappy with the TRS. After he lost the assembly elections in 2018, he was not rehabilitated by the TRS. What more, the man who defeated him in Palair in the 2018 elections, has now joined the TRS. Not just that, all indications point out that he is likely to be given the party ticket in the 2023 election. This means, Tummala will not be given the party ticket. Hence, he is said to be planning to join the TDP and revive the party in Khammam.
