The Mining scam involving mining baron Gali Janardhana Reddy brought issues between him and the Bharatiya Janata Party and many say that he was not given preference in the party and leaders are not even showing interest in meeting him. Despite serving as the Minister earlier he was not preferred in the party.
This did not go well with the mining baron and past few weeks it has been reported that he is in plans to start a new party as he is not respected in the party. Making the media reports that he announced his new party on Sunday.
The name of the party is 'Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha'. Though he doesn't possess the chances and possibilities to come to power in Karnataka, he can surely impact the vote percentage in the upcoming general elections.
He and his supporters enjoy a good hold on the Kalyana Karnataka region and the party will surely give tough competition to other parties. Compared to the grand old Congress, the 'Kalyana Rajya Pragati Paksha' party will surely hurt the saffron party.
On top of this, the Gali brothers have a good hold on the Ballari and adjacent areas where the Telugu people stay in big numbers and the BJP has to work hard to fight with the mining baron in his strong areas.
