Karnataka Future: Who Will Become King And King Maker?
By: Tupaki Desk | 11 May 2023 5:36 PM ISTThe much-awaited Karnataka Assembly elections which caught the attention of the whole nation were successfully concluded the other day. The polling has been completed and all eyes are on the results which will be announced on the coming Saturday. Many say that the results would be key for many political consequences in the coming days. If the Bharatiya Janata Party wins the Karnataka elections, then the party would not have any issues in national politics. But if the Congress wins the elections, then the BJP would have to face issues.
There is a reason behind this. The BJP is behaving as if it has no competition in the country. If the party loses the Karnataka elections, then it will leave a big impact on the self-confidence of the party, say many. So BJP winning the elections is very crucial. In a few months, the general elections will be held in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and a few other states. The Karnataka elections would impact the elections in other states.
Now what happens with the Karnataka elections? What would happen has become interesting. A strong debate is going on saying that the grand old Congress would get an advantage in the election result this time.
But the exit polls have something else to say. A few polls predicted that neither Congress nor the Bharatiya Janata Party would come to power as reaching the magic figure would be a tough task for the parties. If this situation arises then the Janata Dal (Secular) would be a crucial factor and might become kingmaker.
As per the current predictions, the Janata Dal (Secular) party would win at least 20 seats and it will emerge as the king-maker if the predictions come true. However, the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party are expressing confidence that they will come to power without any kingmaker.
Overall a debate is going on about who will become King in Karnataka. Who can be the King Maker?. We will get full clarity on this by noon on Saturday. Till then the debates and discussions would not stop and would do rounds.
