Kavitha summoned for questioning in Delhi Liquor scam

In a major development, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has served notices on - Telangana MLC and daughter of Telangana CM KCR -Kalwakuntla Kavitha â in the infamous Delhi liquor scam. The notices summoned her for questioning on Thursday. This has now become the talk of the town in the BRS.
Arun Ramachandra Pillai, a Hyderabad-based entrepreneur, who is already in ED's custody, has admitted that he is a proxy for the BRS MLC. Now, Kavitha would be questioned in the presence of Ramachandra Pillai. Sources apprehend that Kavitha could also be arrested after the questioning.
It may be recalled that the ED has prepared a water-tight case in the liquor scam and has already arrested Delhi's deputy chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party's founder-leader Manish Sisodia. Now there is a buzz that Kavitha too would be arrested by the Enforcement Directorate. The BRS is now worried that this arrest could have a negative impact on the party ahead of the all-important assembly elections.
Kavitha initially refuted the allegations and said that she had nothing to do with the scam. But, she has later agreed to cooperate with the investigating agencies. He has earlier been questioned. But the ED has decided to question her again in view of the latest revelations in the high profile corruption case.
