TS Police Command and Control Centre All Set For Inauguration!
By: Tupaki Desk | 4 Aug 2022 9:04 AM GMTTelangana state which was carved out of the combined Andhra Pradesh in 2014 is traveling on the path of development. Since the Telangana Rashtra Samithi came into power, it is focusing on the overall development. Not that the state was not developed, but the TRS focuses on various aspects and regions rather than focusing only on the capital city Hyderabad.
As another big feather in the illustrious cap of the state, the state police department is all set to get a dedicated and updated system to fight various issues and threats as the Telangana Police Integrated Command and Control Centre is coming to the capital city Hyderabad.
The construction was finished and a massive amount of Rs 600 was spent on the construction reportedly. The campus will be inaugurated by Chief Minister KCR today. A few bodies came together to do their part in proving whatever support they can for the Command and Control Centre of the Telangana State Police Department.
Constructed in the posh locality of Banjara Hills, the Centre has dedicated functions and work areas and the centre will have access to address various queries covering areas like women issues, Crimes, Cyber Crimes, Narcotics, and general complaints like 100.
The facilities and technology will complement the functions of the centre that without stopping the functions of the wings, the cops can talk to the media and address the media if there is something to make the people aware of. A dedicated space was given for media interaction and the cops can speak to the media there without having to stop their functions.
The Centre will not only help the state Police department to render services effectively. People can also enter the campus premises and have a look at the Telangana Police Museum and the gallery that offers a 360-degree view experience.
The idea to construct the Command and Control Centre was pitched back in 2015. As the TRS understood the wonders technology can do and IT Minister is a tech-savvy legislator, the government decided to have a dedicated setup and the idea was pitched. The Shapoorji Pallonji Group took care of the construction work and the digital and technical support was provided by giant companies like L&T Infotech and others.
