KCR To Enter National Politics If BRS Wins?

KCR is making strong efforts to make BRS score a hattrick of wins and come to power for the third term. Who will become Chief Minister if BRS comes to power? Are you thinking what is the mad question? Yes, a discussion is going on in the BRS reportedly that though KCR will take the Chief Minister after the party comes to power, he might transfer the power to his son KTR at the right time. The discussion is not new and has been going on for some time.

Earlier, it was reported that KCR's health was not well and KTR would be the Chief Minister of the state. However, the reports were rubbished. But there is a logic to the reports that are doing rounds. KCR is focusing more on national politics. It is not possible to focus on national politics while holding the CM Post. That's why the likes of Jayalalithaa, Chandrababu Naidu, Mulayam Singh Yadav, and Lalu Prasad Yadav did not think about this.

Jayalalithaa died as a Chief Minister. Mulayam, Lalu, and Deve Gowda left the Chief Minister post and restricted themselves to national politics. They stayed in Delhi becoming members of Rajya Sabha or Lok Sabha. That's why they have managed to play a key role in national politics. As Chandrababu Naidu stayed as the CM, he used to go to Delhi whenever it was needed. It is very tough to play a role in national politics while staying as a CM.

It is said that, due to the same reason, KCR had decided to go to Delhi by giving the Chief Minister's post to KTR. With this, the key responsibilities in the party and the government were given to KTR. Though KTR is holding a few portfolios, it is known that he is examining a few other departments unofficially. All this happens only if BRS comes to power for the third term. That too it should get a good majority. BRS should also win the maximum number of MP seats. We have to wait and see what happens next.
