Telangana is home to many old and historic temples. A few of them were selected as heritage sites by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization(UNESCO). These famous temples attract people in big numbers and also generate good revenues for the state.

The historic Yadagiri Gutta is one such historic temple in the state. The state government renovated the temple and named it Yadadri temple. It is said that Chief Minister KCR took inspiration from Tirupati and developed the Yadagiri Gutta temple. The temple is now seeing devotees in big numbers.

Now Chief Minister KCR hinted that another Yadadri-like temple would come up in the state as hundreds of crores were allotted to the historic temple. After visiting the historic temple, the Chief Minister said that the temple will be developed with all the facilities and amenities.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao visited the historic Sri Anjaneya Swami temple at Kondagattu and took part in special prayers. He received a grand welcome from the temple authorities and later he offered his prayers to the deity there.

After offering prayers, Chief Minister KCR said that the temple will be developed and Rs 500 crores will be allotted. Having said that, the BRS chief said he will not shy away from spending even Rs 1000 crores to develop the temple.

The Yadagiri Gutta temple was also developed with over Rs 1000 crores and people started drawing a comparison between the two temples already. As another big similarity, Art Director Anand Sai who took care of the Yadagiri temple is also working on the new temple. He is said to have done an aerial survey and spoken to the priests and Agama experts on the new design.

It is known that Chief Minister KCR is a strong believer in God and he performs poojas at regular intervals. The Yagnam he performed in Telangana kept many talking as thousands of priests from various parts of the nation were invited to perform the special yagam. A similar yagnam was also performed when he started the BRS party office in the national capital Delhi. We have to wait and see what sensation KCR will do with the Kondagattu temple.
