Komatireddy Brothers' Future Dependent On Munugode Result?

Without any doubt, the Munugode bypoll is one of the most much-talked-about elections in the country in recent times. The three major parties in the state took the elections prestigiously and want to win the polls as the political experts say that the election result might hint at how the voters would behave in the next general elections.
The election concluded the other day and reports said that a higher voting percentage than in the previous election was recorded. No wonder a high voting percentage was recorded as thousands of new voters enrolled for the voting right.
Now all eyes are on the election result to know which party would win the polls. More than the other parties, winning the bypoll is very crucial for the saffron party as the Telangana wing of BJP wants to expand its footprint in the state. It has just three MLAs and wants to add a fourth MLA.
That's a reason why BJP went in touch with former Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy and invited him into the party. His resignation as the MLA and party leader created a space for the by-election in the Munugode Assembly constituency.
Rajgopal Reddy became the BJP leader and the Munugode by-poll candidate. It is a big risk for him what he did. He left the Congress party which had been supporting his family and made him MLA and his brother Komatirddy Venkat Reddy the MP.
There are strong allegations that Rajgopal Reddy joined the saffron party for the contracts which are to the tune of thousands of crores. Posters saying the same appeared in the poll-bound region. However, Raj Gopal Reddy's supporters said that he has been in the business field and the allegations are not true.
But his future is in danger and it is dependent on the election result. If he fails to win the polls then there is no future for him. BJP will show interest in getting another MLA rather than encouraging Rajgopal Reddy. Not just him, but his brother Venkat Reddy is also in danger as he distanced himself from the party activities in the campaign.
