Maharashtra Minister Not Happy With Ncb Officer's Clean Chit!

Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) official Sameer Wankhade is on the radar as a probe was launched against him to look into the allegations of alleged bribes asked by Wankhade and to see if he had forced the witnesses in the case or not. On top of this, NCP leader, Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik is after the official on the grounds of using fake caste certificates to get the job.
As a big relief to Wankhade, the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC) said, Sameer Wankhade is not guilty in the caste and row and gave a clean chit to him. NCSC vice-chairman Arun Halder gave a clean chit and said Wankhade comes under the Scheduled Castes.
However, this did not go well with Nawab Malik. He objected to the clean chit. Standing firm on the allegations he leveled against Sameer Wankhade, the Maharashtra Cabinet Minister said, Arun Haldar should maintain the dignity of the post he is holding.

The Minister said that, before giving a clean chit to Sameer Wankhade, Arun Halder should have called an investigation and then submitted a detailed report on the investigation. Without doing this, he gave a clean chit. I will complain to President Ramnath Kovind against Halder, he maintained.

Earlier, the witnesses in the case have accused Sameer Wankhade of demanding Shah Rukh Khan Rs 25 crore as a bribe to let his son Aryan Khan let go in the drugs case. Wankhade is also accused of forcing the witnesses in the case to sign blank papers.
Sameer Wankhade is famous for busting a lot of alleged drug rackets including the recent one where Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan and a few others were arrested and released on a bail later.
