The tastes and opinions of girls towards the marriage institutions have changed, said a matrimonial site that had conducted the survey to understand how people in Telugu states are looking at marriage. The findings of the survey said that girls' opinions on marriage have changed compared to the past.
Leading matrimonial site Telugu Matrimony conducted the survey. The survey was carried out in a way to know what factors will girls take into consideration while picking their life partners. The survey had found out that not only boys, but girls are also in favour of picking life partners from other castes.
Looking at the preferences of the participants of the recent survey, both boys and girls said that IT employees are their first preference as life partners, while they are also in favour of life partners who work as teachers and doctors.
As an example of a progressive mindset among youth, boys and girls are ready to accept inter-caste people as their partners. The percentage of men and women who are in favour of inter-caste marriage rose massively compared to the last decade.16.4 percent and 24.3 percent of women and men respectively said they are ok with inter-caste marriages.
One common point in men and women is that both have the same opinion that they should get married after getting settled and they want their partners also to be settled and to draw good salaries.
