Modi's New India: Lions on National Emblem Turn Aggressive

The Central Vista project is the ambitious project of the Bharatiya Janata Party. At a massive cost, the Union government is building a new building for the Parliamentarians. The much-talked-about project is in the construction stage and the project is expected to be finished this year. The project got a big attraction recently.
The three lions we see in the national emblem were unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the emblem would come on top of the Project which is being constructed at a rapid pace. However, the structure of the national emblem landed in a big controversy.
The saffron party BJP had changed the nature of the three lions on the emblem. Usually, the lions on the emblem appear normal and calm. But the three lions unveiled by the Prime Minister are looking aggressive and furious. The lions on the Parliament building are now showing their teeth aggressively rather than posing a composed look.
The Bharatiya Janata Party which shot to fame by changing the names of the places and structures has now used the same in the national emblem. The lions on Ashoka Chakra which stand for power, courage, confidence, and pride have a regal look. But the Indian government had changed the look of the lions on the national emblem.
Needless to say, the issue turned political in no time with criticism coming from various corners. From political parties to experts to authors, the issue is getting responses from a wider range of audiences. Everyone is bashing the Union Government on this.
It is no wonder that the criticism is turning intense and aggressive. It is the new low for the Union government. After selling the assets and taking the prices of the commodities to an all-time high, it is the worst the Union government can do.
