In a recent interview, Sri Bharat was asked if there is any pressure on him from family to foray into politics so early. The Youngster told he has willingly made his entry into politics because of growing up watching his two grandfathers (MVVS Murthy, Kavuri Sambasiva Rao).

Sri Bharat: 'Kavuri Garu is always ready to encourage if any of his family members join politics. Murthy Garu, on the other hand, used to ask Me to wait for 10-15 years. It was in last year April, He asked Me to get ready to contest 2019 Elections. Unfortunately, He passed away within months in a freak road accident within few months'.

Sri Bharat shared the order passed by MVVS Murthy to his wife Tejaswini. Initially, She didn't respond positively saying: 'We aren't getting much time to spend now. If you join politics, It becomes even more difficult'. Balayya's Daughter, however, decided to support her hubby later.

In fact, Even Balakrishna opposed the decision of Sri Bharat initially as any such move ruins family time. He, however, decided to encourage his Son-in-Law upon knowing about his determination.

Sri Bharat claims to be having a good rapport with his co-brother Nara Lokesh who is very supportive of him. He went on to say Lokesh is one of the reasons behind getting Visakha MP Ticket.

When quizzed about contesting against Purandeswari in Visakha, Sri Bharat told politics and family are different. He claims to be maintaining cordial relations with Chinnamma but didn't mind saying BJP isn't even his competitor.

Asked about Jana Sena Candidate Lakshminarayana, Sri Bharat opined one man can't change everything pointing out the organisational structure of TDP. He says only the collective effort of MP, MLAs and Ministers can bring the change.
