We are going to witness an intense political battle in Andhra Pradesh. All the parties in the state are busy with their ideas and plan to go to the polls with their strategies. Interestingly, every party is confident of winning the polls and has certain goals to achieve.

Talking about the ruling YCP, it wants to win all 175 Assembly seats. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy wants to achieve the same and sending the legislators to meet people in their respective constituencies as part of the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabuthvam program. During the same, the legislators will be explaining the welfare schemes to people.

The grand old Telugu Desam Party and Janasena also want to win the polls. But the situation of TDP is different here. Winning the next elections is a do-or-die situation for the party to survive. With this, the party's general secretary Nara Lokesh is doing a statewide yatra.

Nara Lokesh is busy gathering support from various corners. At a recent meeting, Nara Lokesh was asked about Megastar Chiranjeevi. Calling himself a fan of Megastar, Lokesh said that he watched Waltair Veerayya. However, he also said that he will watch his Mavayya Nandamuri Balakrishna movies too.

The political experts say that Nara Lokesh wants to gather support from all corners and that's why he might have said that he is a big fan of Chiranjeevi. To see that fans of no hero would turn against the party, Lokesh might have said the comments.

The Kapu community is expected to be a deciding factor in the elections. As it is one of the most populated communities in Andhra Pradesh, the parties are trying their best in wooing the community. Earlier, the leaders and supporters of the ruling YCP and Telugu Desam Party fought over Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga's statue in Vijayawada.

After the new districts came into existence and the Krishna district was named after the Telugu Desam Party chief and ex-Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, a new demand was stated that one of the districts should be named after Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga. Many Kapu leaders like Chegondi Venkata Harirama Jogaiah are saying that Kapus would be a big factor in elections.
