People Waiting For US Green Card Has A Good News!

The US government headed by President Joe Biden has given good news to the Indians who are awaiting green cards. They released the policy guidance on eligibility just a few days ahead of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's trip to the United States.
As we are aware, Modi will be in the US from 21st June to 24th June. He got an invitation from US president Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden. The state dinner is organized on 22nd June. The Indian PM will address the Joint Session of Congress on the same day.
The eligibility criteria for new and renewal applicants for Employment Authorisation Document (EAD) issued by Immigration Services (USCIS) and US Citizenship is going to help a lot of Indian people living in America who have been waiting for a Green Card for a very long time. As we know, Green Card is issued to immigrants who stayed for a long time and it is referred to as Permanent Resident Card too.
Approximately over 140,000 employment-based green cards will be given each year and only seven percent of the whole will go to people from a single country. Ajay Bhoria who is an advocate of Immigrant rights said, "These measures are a significant step towards supporting individuals facing challenging situations and ensuring their ability to work lawfully in the United States.â He added, âFor instance, individuals with approved immigrant visa petitions in oversubscribed categories or changeability areas may submit evidence like school or higher education enrollment records, mortgage records, or long-term lease records to demonstrate compelling circumstances."
