Pleasant Surprise: KCR and Governor Attend a Ceremony!
By: Tupaki Desk | 28 Jun 2022 8:45 AM GMTThere is an infamous trend in the Southern states which sees Chief Ministers and Governors having a confrontation. The trend continued further with a Telugu state seeing a similar situation. Unlike the previous instances, Chief Minister and Governor openly expressed dissatisfaction with each other.
It is known that Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao and Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan are having a confrontation and the latter accused the former and the government of not respecting the Governor's office. Reacting to the same, the ruling TRS said that Governor is behaving like a BJP leader. The issue between them became a big issue that even the national media covered the news.
Now an interesting thing happened that came as a surprise to one and all. After the long confrontation, KCR and Tamilisai Soundararajan were spotted together at an event. After around nine months the duo came together.
It has to be mentioned here that Ujjal Bhuyan was recently appointed as the Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court. The oath-taking ceremony happened today at the Raj Bhavan and the Governor administered the oath. Respecting the protocol, CM KCR attended the oath-taking ceremony.
As he is meeting the Governor at her office, KCR presented her with a bouquet. After the oath-taking ceremony, the duo sat for breakfast and it is said that they spoke to each other without any issues.
This is the second time, Governor and Chief Minister met each other. Back when things were not bad between the duo, they were present at the swearing-in ceremony of the previous Chief Justice of Telangana high court Justice Satish Chandra Sharma last year.
Keeping the similarities aside, the swearing-in ceremony made what others could not. Earlier there were reports that a few leaders tried their best in killing the gap between the duo but they could not do so. The protocol brought the two together those who are not seeing each other for around nine months.
The differences between the Chief Minister and Governor popped up during the Assembly sessions. Tamilisai expressed her shock over not inviting her to the sessions as the sessions start with Governor's address.
