The political heat in Telangana is increasing gradually as the state is gearing up for an intense by-poll. The Munugode Assembly constituency which became vacant after Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy will see a by-election soon. The major parties kept themselves busy chalking out strategies.
Compared to other parties, Congress is dealing with multiple issues as the ruling TRS and BJP are reportedly trying to take the second-tier leaders into their parties to boost the winning chances. Since Raj Gopal Reddy left the grand old Congress party, his brother Komarireddy Venkat Reddy is becoming a topic of discussion.
Making it challenging for MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, husband of an MPTC made stunning allegations against him. He alleged Venkat Reddy is working for his brother's victory and he is making calls to Congress leaders to work on the same.
At a party meeting, MPTC member Polagoni Vijayalakshmi's husband Seidulu stunned everyone by saying that he has been receiving repeated WhatsApp calls from Venkat Reddy to support his brother and many leaders are receiving calls but they are not saying it out due to fear.
There are many doubts on whether Komatireddy Venkat Reddy would prefer the party over his brother for the by-election or not. At regular intervals, this issue comes for discussion. Yet again, this became a topic of discussion with the new allegations coming out.
If Komatireddy Venkat Reddy is making such efforts really then it will impact the winning chances of Congress. The national party has a strong cadre in Nalgonda. If the MP gathers the support of such leaders then Congress will not stand any chance.
Moreover, there are reports which say that the Munugode by-election win will decide the fate of Revanth Reddy as the TPCC chief. If the party could not win the by-election, then the leadership might look for other options. The seniors want the same as they are not happy with a newcomer like Revanth Reddy taking the big post.
