Revanth Reddy and Seniors To Get 50 % Seats Each?
By: Tupaki Desk | 6 Jun 2023 10:31 PM ISTThe Telangana wing of Congress is high on confidence in coming to power. Even the Delhi leadership is also confident about Telangana. The leadership thinks that it can achieve this by sorting out the issues within the party.
As part of this, the party leadership is busy sorting out the issues between Telangana PCC Chief Revanth Reddy and the seniors. The High Command is filling the gaps between the leaders to make it easy for them to work together so that it can come to power in the state.
Now it is said that the leadership is coming up with a formula and if we have to take anything from the media reports, Revanth Reddy and seniors will be given 50 percent seats each. Revanth Reddy would be having around 60 seats in hand and he was reportedly given a free hand in this reportedly.
Seniors will be given responsibility for the remaining seats. However, there is a subject to condition that candidates who get good marks in the surveys will be given a ticket. The same would be the case with Revanth Reddy. Aspirants and candidates will be entertained only if they get good ratings.
On top of this, Sunil Kanugolu who helped Congress win the Karnataka elections with a super-majority is said to be doing surveys on the candidates. He is drawing strategies for and the party high command is trusting him completely. Sunil Kanugole's decision would be final in picking candidates.
It appears that candidates will not be given tickets easily as it happened earlier. No matter if they are backed by TPCC chief Revanth Reddy or seniors, candidates will be given tickets only if they are proven as winning horses. Congress is not leaving any stone unturned and the party is giving its best efforts.
The Congress party wants to win the elections and it is adamant on this. The leadership wants to be clear on this. If this is implemented strongly then candidates who want to get tickets at the last minute have to face issues and they will not be entertained.
So everyone has to work on the ground and get a good image among people. If the high command feels candidates have winning chances, then they will be given tickets. It is said that Congress is busy making strategies for winning the elections and this would be possible if everyone works together.
