Rise Of BJP: Ranked As Worlds Largest Political Party!
X
The Bharatiya Janata Party is on a roll. In the last nine years, the saffron party became bigger and bigger and it even touched the 100-mark in Rajya Sabha. With this, it even became the first party since 1990 to achieve this. The BJP even spread its wings in the northeastern region.

As an example of the growth of the BJP, the saffron party is regarded as the largest political party in the world. The Bharatiya Janata Party even surpassed China's Chinese Communist Party and America's democratic party. BJP stood at the top in terms of active membership.

The Chinese Communist Party is one of the largest and longest-surviving parties in the world. Despite this, the BJP defeated it and came in the top. America-based World of Statistics which aims at Nurturing statistics as a profession, especially among young people, ranked the parties in the world based on the membership they have.

World's largest political party ( Ranked by Highest membership):

Bharatiya Janata Party

Chinese Communist Party

Democratic Party

Indian National Congress

Republican Party

Justice and Development Party

All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam

Prosperity Party

Aam Aadmi Party

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf

Chama Cha Mapinduzi

United Socialist Party of Venezuela

Workers' Party of Korea

Telugu Desam Party

Cambodian People's Party

While BJP defeating the other major parties was a big shock, regional parties like Telugu Desam Party and Tamil Nadu's All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam also made it to the list. Delhi-based Aam Aadmi Party, which is making baby steps toward becoming a national party is also on the list.

However, there are a few doubts about the list prepared by the firm. Because usually, the data of active membership will be announced by the parties and no one can counter-check this due to lack of data. The parties often hold membership registration programs to increase the number of members.

But there will be no data on the credibility of the data. The data issued by the political parties are taken by the think tanks and based on the same they prepare the data and rank the parties based on various parameters.
