Same formula same trick two leaders Two states
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 April 2023 3:27 PM ISTThey say one man's food is another's poison. But, reputed poll management and strategy company IPAC of Prashant Kishore certainly doesn't think so. It perhaps feels that what works for Peter will also work for Paul. In other words, it strongly believes that what works for Mamta Banerji in West Bengal will also work for YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Andhra Pradesh.
One only has to look at the two recent programmes undertaken by YS Jagan and the YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh. The first programme is "Jagananna Ki Chebudam"or Let's tell YS Jagan. This programme allows people to tell their problems to YS Jagan. The programme would begin from April 13. The ministers, MLAs and incharges will go to the people and listen to their grievances and problems.
The party leaders will also explain about the schemes and programmes of the government. In addition, there would be another programme titled "Maa Nammakam Nuvve Jagan" or In Jagan we trust. Under this programme, the party workers will go from house to house and paste a sticker on the door.
Both are good programmes indeed. But, the I PAC is running same programmes for Mamta Banerjee in West Bengal. One is titled Didi Ke Bolo which means Let's tell Didi and the other programme means "We Trust Mamta." Interestingly, the IPAC has designed the same kind of stickers and even the colour codes are the same.
The only difference being the photo of the leader. In West Bengal, it's Mamta and in AP, it's Jagan. Similarly, the party symbols are different. The moot point is will these programmes bring back Jagan to power again in AP? Will they be able to buck the anti-incumbency in Andhra Pradesh? Let's wait and see.
