Sc Helps Dalit Student To Entre Prestigious Iit

The top court in the country, the Supreme Court came to the rescue of a 17-year-old Dalit student and helped the student in securing admission at the public technical university Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) by using its special powers. The Apex Court is getting applause from everyone for paving the way for the student to get admission at the prestigious IIT.
Going into details, one Prince Jaibeer Singh, who hails from Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad got a seat at the Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Bombay for the civil engineering branch. He had cracked the entrance exam in 2021. However, he was on the verge of losing a seat in the IIT as he could not pay the amount to get a seat.
After facing issues in getting a seat at the institute, the student had knocked on the doors of the Supreme Court. The Apex Court had heard the petition on Monday and made serious comments and ramped the Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) institution. Directing the IIT to admit the student, the Supreme Court said that if the admission was not made then it's the "travesty of justice".
The student who was very firm on his dream to study at the IIT had moved the Bombay High Court. However, his petition was rejected by the High Court which came as a big shock to the Dalit student. With no option left, he then knocked on the doors of the Apex Court. The two-judge bench of the Supreme Court heard the petition on Monday.
After hearing the arguments of the student's lawyer, the Supreme Court bench said that the student should be given admission to the institution and gave a deadline of 48 hours for the same. The Supreme Court also said that the admission of the Dalit student should be made in a way that other students won't get disturbed.
Prince Jaibeer Singh had come a long way to get admission to the IIT. He could not even gather Rs 15,000 to pay at the institution. He somehow managed to get the money by seeking help from his sisters. After going through such hardships, he faced another obstacle when the website had some glitches that prevented him from paying the required fees.
