It is becoming increasingly clear that soft-spoken Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy is slowly but surely taking over the YSRCP's organisational infrastructure in a silent and unobtrusive manner. He is gradually firming up his grip on the party organisation. He has clearly edged out the other general secretary - Rajya Sabha MP Vijaya Sai Reddy.
Already, Sajjala has emerged as the to-go man in the party. All major decisions in the party are being conveyed through Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy. In fact, Sajjala played a critical role in the recent cabinet rejig and his recommendation had played a key role in deciding who would be in and who would be out of the council of ministers.
The latest development in the YSRCP is the appointment of the social media incharge of the party. Sajjala's son Bhargav Reddy has now been made the chief of the social media. In fact, social media plays a key role in the YSRCP scheme of things and was headed in the past by YS Jagan's family members.
Initially, Jagan's cousins Ragdeep Reddy and Madhulika Reddy led the social media. Later, it passed into the hands of another of Jagan's cousins, Divya Reddy.
Now, Bhargav Reddy has taken over the reins of the YSRCP social media. Some other relatives of Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy too are said to be playing key role as backroom boys. Some party sources quipped that as of today, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy is definitely more powerful than Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
