See whois unhappy with KCR's pro-Rahul Gandhi stand?
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 Feb 2022 6:59 AM GMTTelangana CM KCR has targeted the BJP and its leader Bandi Sanjay. Nothing wrong in it as BJP is being seen as KCR's arch enemy. But, how to explain KCR praising and supporting the Congress. He has defended Rahul Gandhi and did not give a straight answer on the question of joining hands with the Congress in the 2024 elections. At the same time, he neither refuted the rumours of joining hands with the Congress.
He defended Rahul Gandhi more strongly than the Congressmen themselves. Also, he slammed Assam CM Himantha Biswa Sarma's comments on Rahul Gandhi's parentage. When asked if he would align with the Congress Party in the upcoming elections, he said he did not directly deny he would join the Congress. Instead, he said he wants all non-BjP forces to unite to oust the BJP.
He also revealed that he was thinking on the lines of forming a people's front and join hands with Mamta Banerjee to defeat Modi. But all this may be music to anti-Modi factions and groups. But, this has put Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief Revanth Reddy in a spot.
Revanth Reddy feels that KCR's talk might slow suspicion about the Congress intentions and wean away anti-KCR vote from the party. He is currently fighting KCR vehemently and is not inclined to compromise on the issue. But, KCR's latest comments could harm his image and hit his party. He feels that KCR's comments might strengthen the BJP as the only alternative to KCR in Telangana.
