Silver Items Seized In Producer's Car In Poll-bound State?

Now Silver items worth around Rs 39 lakh were believed to have been seized from a car that belongs to a top producer. As part of regular checking, the Election officers found silver items that weigh in kilos and seized them. The news raised many eyeballs.
As per the media reports, the silver items that are worth around Rs 39 lakhs were seized in a car in Karnataka and the vehicle reportedly belongs to Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor. At a check post, the vehicle was caught, and the authorities seized the silver items.
The media reports say that there were a few boxes in a BMW car that was traveling to Mumbai from Chennai, and on the way, the car was spotted at the toll gate. There was also a person in the car beside the driver. The person is believed to have confessed that the silver ornaments belong to Boney Kapoor.
A case has been filed against the accused in this regard. The concerned Police officers are investigating the matter and further details are awaited. We would hear more details on this once the investigation goes further.
