Supreme Court Suspends Avinash's Mid Term Bail!

Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy has been facing a tough time with YS Vivekananda Reddy's case for some time. As another big blow, the ruling party MP faced a big shock from the Supreme Court. Hearing a petition, the country's top court set aside the orders issued by the Telangana High Court earlier.
The Supreme Court had set aside the orders of the High Court asking the CBI to not arrest him till the 25th of this month. Having said that, the Apex Court reportedly maintained that giving such orders would impact the case investigation and increased the deadline for the investigation to June 30.
As the Supreme Court set aside the orders preventing Avinash Reddy's arrest, a debate is going on about what would be the next development. With this, the path for Avinash Reddy's arrest is cleared further, say many. As there are no more restrictions, he might get arrested, say a few observers.
Earlier, the Telangana High Court gave interim protection for the Kadapa MP in the case till the 25th of this month. He filed a bail petition in the court in which he said that there is no concrete evidence against him except for Dastagiri's statement.
YS Vivekananda Reddy's daughter Sunitha Reddy who has been fighting for justice moved the Supreme Court challenging the interim protection granted by the High Court. After hearing the arguments of both sides, the Supreme Court canceled the High Court's orders.
During the arguments, Avinash Reddy's lawyer requested the Supreme Court to grant orders to save the MP from arrest as the Telangana High Court will hear a petition on Tuesday. But the Apex Court said that such orders cannot be granted.
