TDP Finalised Tickets For These 10 Candidates?
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 Aug 2022 7:12 AM GMTThe grand old Telugu Desam Party is dealing with the biggest crisis since its inception. As the upcoming general elections are a do-or-die situation for the party and the opposition party took the polls prestigiously. For this, the party chief is giving his best efforts.
Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu is on a spree of meeting the in-charges of the constituencies daily and briefing them on what strategies should be followed to get strength and win the forthcoming polls. Chandrababu Naidu is also taking inputs from the incharges as well during the meeting.
Meeting the incharges of constituencies is working well for the party as Chandrababu Naidu is believed to have fixed the candidates who would run the polls on a party ticket. A few candidates have been fixed already. During the meeting, the party chief reportedly finalized candidates.
Reports say that former Minister Mandali Buddha Prasad and ex MLA Bode Prasad have been finalised who are likely to contest the polls from Avanigadda and Penamaluru constituencies respectively.
Narayana Reddy and Vijay Kumar are also said to have got the final nod from the chief in running the next polls. On the other hand, the likes of Bhuma Akhila Priya, Challa Ramachandra Reddy, Mahmad Najeer, Baatyala Chengalrayudu, Damacharla Janardhan, and Putta Sudhakar Yadav were also finalised reportedly.
Though there was a bit of confusion about Putta Sudhakar Yadav's constituency, former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu went ahead in finalising him from Maidukur having satisfied with Yadav's arguments that it would be beneficial if he contests from Maidukur rather than contesting from some other place.
Though the party supremo is believed to have finalised the candidates for the upcoming polls, he also gave them a few instructions like working together with their fellow leaders in their respective constituencies so that the other leaders will not have the feeling of getting left out.
On the other hand, the leaders were also asked to take an active part in the party events like the membership campaign and the 'Badude Badudu' campaign against rising taxes, power prices, and others in the constituencies. We have to wait and see if the leaders will follow the instructions or not.
