As a development, no one had anticipated, the anti-PRC protests in Andhra Pradesh were terminated, ahead of the highly anticipated indiferente strike. The decision taken by the leaders of the Andhra Pradesh JAC had made the Teachers of the state-run institutions angry.

Alleging that they were cheated, the Teachers' Unions have slammed the leaders over the issue and said that the decision was taken by them without consulting them and asking for their opinion on the same.

With a strong tone, the members of the Andhra Pradesh Teachers' Federation said that the protest will not be stopped unless their demands are addressed. As a bid to show their anger on the JAC, the Teachers' Union distanced itself from the JACs.

Accusing the JAC leaders of comprising the interests and demands of the teachers, the Federation said that it is no longer a part of the JAC. Not just that, the members of the Federation have also stepped down from the positions they held in the JAC.

Making a tough call on protesting for their demand, the federation said that they are opposing the decision that was made. Alleging that secret deals were made to withdraw the protests, the federation said that the decision is nothing but killing the hopes of the teachers.

As part of the protests, the copies of the pay scales were burnt by the teachers at the MRO office by the federation members. Later, the members raised slogans against the JAC leaders alleging that they had compromised with the Andhra Pradesh government which had cost them their demands.'

Expressing severe shock over the way the Joint Action Committee leaders have canceled the protests, the Andhra Pradesh Teachers' Federation said that they were betrayed by the leaders and that's why they had decided to carry out the protest.

Having said that, it has nothing to do with the JAC now, the AP Teachers Federation had shot a letter to APJAC chairman Bandi Srinivas Rao, saying that they will continue in their posts in the JAC and made it clear that they will now carry the protests on their shoulders.
