Telangana Govt Doing Its Best For Handlooms what About AP?
By: Tupaki Desk | 16 Aug 2022 11:25 AM GMTThe handlooms sector is one of the oldest sectors in the country. Historians say that handlooms might have a rich history of over a thousand years and almost every region has a specific style of weaving clothes. The handloom industry has a key role to play in the vibrant Indian culture.
To lend a helping hand to the sector, the Telangana government is doing as much as it can. The government announced insurance and is holding exhibitions so that the weavers can show what they can do to the world. Not just that IT Minister KTR even nominated others to participate in the #MyHandloomMyPride challenge.
Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan was nominated by KTR. After participating in the challenge, Pawan Kalyan nominated three others including former Minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy. On the occasion, Srinivas Reddy thanked Pawan Kalyan for giving him this opportunity.
Rather than appreciating Pawan Kalyan for doing thsic challenge, YCP Minister Ambati Rambabu. Hiting back at Pawan Kalyan, Ambati Rambabu asked if Janasena would contest all the 175 constituencies or not. He even said enough of these challenges.
No one understands what the Minister has issues with if Pawan Kalyan promotes handlooms. Telangana government is doing its best for handlooms, but what about the Andhra Pradesh government in this regard is the real question.
No doubt the AP government is giving its best in the welfare schemes, but talking handloom sector in particular ever the hardcore YCP fans cannot say what the government is doing for the weaver's community.
